Ilyea paused as she glanced over the world creepy bowl thing for the millionth time. The mage remembered the murmurs from a few of the fellow Scions about her naming conventions. Creepy bowl thing, baby scary yelling thing, boring wrist thing that Demy may like? Those were all great names that made perfect sense to her.
Unfortunately now that she was looking at it, perhaps if she named it something *better* would be more fitting. But the mage couldn’t find herself to guess at what exactly to name it, because even after all of this time they still weren’t any closer to figuring out what it was.
“Myra, please change named Creepy Bowl thing to Coldlight’s Bullshit please.” Ilyea chuckled finding the name apt enough as she read through the reports.
“Denied, Lledwyn said no more swear words because of last time they were trying to show his family around the Vaults Counselor Cole.” Myra chided with her signature electronic huff.”
Ilyea rolled her eyes but was foiled again. Picking up another piece of paper, the Sin'dorei snapped her fingers and the enchanted quill danced to life for another notation.
~The Search Begins~
The vaults were missing three artifacts and an owl guardian. Myra had tasked quite a few people to find them providing them with mini clips to communicate with the alpha guardian. A few took up the mantle up the mantle but none with as much vigor as Captain Delryssa Ravensdawn whom Myra affectionately named Captain Scion. Owing about 1% of Demytrya’s dress budget in the recovery (which seems to be steadily rising), the Captain took up the call seeing as she has done similar jobs in the past.
The sensors resounded about within the Ghostlands, Hearthglen and somewhere along the border of the Western and Eastern Plaguelands that Myra could tell that the artifacts were gathered.
Unfortunately the Captain would soon learn that one of those of the missing relics was keeping a closer eye upon her then she thought and soon her own ship would be plunged into utter chaos.
~Polly~
At the same time, one of the wayward spirits that was summoned by Cold light; a young girl by the name of Polly was persuaded to enter one of the many paintings that Demytrya had about the Scions. My informant went into the Ghostlands where they first encountered her and her mother Wilmina. The informant was bargaining for the mother’s life as the child clearly wanted her to die or join Cold light’s family. The woman in question whom was a withered Quel’dorei woman wanted simply to die.
The plea bargain was simple. They would find an artifact for the spirit to use just like her other “family.” and in return, her mother would return unharmed.
He came to me to get one of Demytrya’s many paintings that she made for differing uses. Mystical paintings that if one were to enter it via necklace; they would be able to live within that painting until they took the necklace off. I was scripted to put runes into place to hold a spirit so I modified the wood with some blood magic Polly; the spirit in question.
It seemed to work easily enough with the spirit being trapped unwillingly within the painting, but just as the spirit was tricked; so was the informant. The mother was not produced.
Feeling that their role was too much, the informant ended their contract as soon as the painting was delivered to Solaro’s church within Erudition. The light held the devilish energies at bay but one could not deny a creepy child like voice that would call out every so often ferried by the winds, “Come play with me.”
