Eventhough it is heartbreaking that we did not make it to the Women's Major Finals for this leg, and eventually losing the championship and settling only for Minor Final's 1st Place finish, I am every bit proud and happy for our Men's Team - the real dark horse of yesterday's competition - for bagging Bronze in the Major Finals, only milliseconds away from the elites - the Philippine Navy and Sagwan Tanauan, thus, beating the Philippine Marines! Ganito po kami sa Philippine Dragonboat Rowing Team (PDRT) Fireblades. Marahil ay ipinagtataka ng ibang kuponan kung bakit ganoon na lamang ang reaksyon namin sa mga ganitong pagkakataon. Bagamat dumadaan sa matinding pagsubok ang team, masaya at ipinagpapasalamat namin ng buong buo ano man ang aming pinaghirapan at ipinagkaloob ng Diyos. Maraming salamat sa aming mga pamilya, mga taga suporta, sa bawat isa, at higit sa lahat, kay Lord, dahil walang imposible basta kumakapit sa Kanya.
