MARLINs 23 SATURDAY

Do I got a story for you! So Saturday the Sole Fly ✖️Jordan “Florida Marlins” released. Taking a Tropical color-way in the Air Jordan 23 silhouette. I couldn’t miss out on this release so my plans were to get up early and be the first in line for this drop. Ha! I shouldn’t have gone out then… I woke up late considering I didn’t get in till after 5am. When I reached Cutler Bay a 31 minute drive from my house the line was long, but not as bad as I have experienced in the past. So I parked at the first spot I saw next to the store and got straight in line. Now your probably wondering why would you go through all this trouble. Well for me waiting in line with fellow sneaker heads for me is all about the experience. So back to the story! I was standing in line I met a few resellers that came down on vacation from Ohio and were cleaning up. When they got their pairs they sold both of them for $1500.00 a piece 3 grand in 10 minutes. Talk about a good day… So they had got back in line to get another pair and the line was really moving at this point. I mean shit they had 1500 pair and I got there at 1:49 so I was definitely assured a pair. So I’m in a good conversation I’m standing in line minding my own business and the ground moves from underneath me and I find myself running on air to stay on my feet epic fail, I fall flat on my ass! What happened was there were pieces of foam on the ground I was standing on one leaning against the glass window behind me. Like the ones kids have in the play room you know the puzzle piece kind. The guys help me up we all laugh about the situation little did I or anyone else realize I hit my head against the glass window. Giving myself a concussion and I faint and fall back on the ground. I go right to sleep 😴 and was having a good dream too until I got woke up by my new homie from Ohio. The staff from Sole Fly rushed me inside the store sat me down and got me water, fed me food, and kept checking on me to see if I was alright. Best store staff I’ve ever met including the owner Chino! He came up and made sure I was good and they put my shoes to the side so when I was ready I could go to the register and get them. Let’s just say I left a lasting impression on the Sole Fly store Saturday and they won’t forget me lol! Just one week before I have to get knee surgery again smh why me.
