Small changes. No one really noticed those. How he exchanged his hoodie for a high necked sweater, the way he held his staff, the way he wore his hair, the way the ice in his eyes actually felt cold and hard. The coat was just a phase, they said. Maybe he felt the need to create an identity for himself, they said. it was a little too late when his skin started to crack and turn a slight shade of blue, when he started to age when he obviously should not, and when his ears turned pointy and sharp.
