We were in a discord chat and talking about how big NTT Solmare was and I tried to do some research and oh boi look at what I found.

Ever thought of what NTT meant? It stands for Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT). Once you actually go and search you’ll see the signs.

First take a look at this. NTT Solmare is a subsidiary of NTT West and NTT West is its parents company. The whole concept of a parent-subsidiary relationship is that the parent company holds a considerable amount of stocks of the subsidiary company and can therefore control it.

Now if we dig deeper, we see that NTT West is a subsidiary of NTT, aka the big grand daddy parent of NTT companies.

NTT is a pretty big company. It has a good number of subsidiaries and has branched out to other business ventures. This is the graph from the actual NTT site.

There it is. NTT Solmare!!! In the others section.

Now you’re gonna ask where the government of Japan comes in. If you look at NTT’s wiki, you’ll see this.

Sadly, I couldn’t find information about NTT in sites like Nasdaq and Bloomberg. But I did find one in MorningStar, a chicago-based Investment Research Company.

And according to them, It’s the Ministry of Finance of Japan that own a huge chunk of NTT, that owns a huge chunk of NTT West that owns a huge chunk of NTT Solmare that creates the Shall We Date games like wizardess heart and moe!ninja girls.
