I present (again) my Sole Survivor, Vaughn Zander!

Age: currently 34 (32 when he got out the Vault)

Status Currently: General of the Minuteman, Paladin of BOS, Agent of Railroad, Atom Cat, Friend of Far Harbor, Protector of Acadia, Atom’s Fave Child
Good traits: intelligent, adaptable, loyal, kind, helpful, honest, charismatic, protective, patient, gentle, observant, supportive, respectful, has a soft spot for children and animals
Flaws: lazy, coward, naive to the point of being tricked, sensitive (when people are harsh on first encounter he becomes passive-aggressive), anxious, sometimes arrogant, clumsy, nervous (he jumps at every high sound or unknown footstep), sarcastic, insecure, low self-esteem, hoarder

Are they romanced: yes, with Hancock (married)
Other info: for 2 years, with the help of his companions , Vaughn had done much for the Commonwealth: became the General of the Minuteman, rebuilding them and securising the settlements, keeps the BOS under the control and spying on them, while also helping the RR from time to time. also he destroyed the Institute, went to Far Harbor and made peace between all 3 factions, went to Nuka World and was trapped for a while, but then defeated the raiders and saving the traders.
Currently he lives at the Sanctuary with his husband, Hancock, and their son, Shaun, alongside the other companions. these days Vaughn mostly takes care of Shaun, but also makes plans for the Minuteman, assures trading routes between settlements and Diamond City and Goodneighbor, sometimes he needs to be on Prydwen (to spy on them and making sure they wont make things worse), helps the RR, from time to time goes to Nuka World and Far Harbor to make sure things are all ok. also he trains doctors from settlements with Curie and even recreate meds and treatments.
Backstory: since he was a child, his biggest wish was to become a doctor. studying for years and being supported by his mother (she was a pharmacist), he graduated Harward Medical School, and worked for a while in a small clinic as a family doctor. but later, his father (was a Brigadier-General in the army) forced him in the war, signing as combat medic. stayed for a year, and after finding out that his father and cousin were killed on the battlefield, he resigned. for a while he was depressed and not doing much, trying to take care of his mother and uncle, but not taking care of himself. Nora (they become friends before Vaughn joined the war) helped him through this difficult period and even managed to make him work again as doctor. much later, they married.

- his cousin is another OC, Vincent Nathaniel “Nate” Hudson, that belongs to @theartofblossoming (canon story)
- Companion!AU Deborah “Debbie” Gaines (belongs to @lilyblue-bubbles) “adopted” in his canon story, she was an ex agent of RR, but with Vaughn’s help, she becomes a heavy for the RR. also she is in a relationship with Danse
- Vaughn has an AU! version of himself, a Vault 81 medic/scavenger, that was “adopted” in Ellie Connor’s canon story (belongs to @lilyblue-bubbles). also in this verse he is married to Hancock and both adopted little Shaun, all 3 living in Sanctuary in a house built by Ellie, later he becomes a Minuteman
