The decorative parts I am working on first in Stud.io Part Designer are bolt heads, for giving my robots more industrial, mechanical looks.
Top ones were made just in Part Designer, cutting off the base from the old Lego tap part (lol, I wonder when was the last time it was used as a tap in offcial model) and making notches.
I also want to make bigger, hexagonal bolt heads, working on them in Solid Edge, but... I realized Solid Edge does not export to any format Stud.io’s Part Designer reads 😕 I was pretty sure it can export models to .obj, but apparently it can’t. Maybe I could just save them as .stl and use some other program to translate it. Damn you Siemens, why you hate me?
