General Jean-Baptiste Solignac. Kind of a badass and embezzler along with Marshal Massena. He helped kick the Council of 500 out on 18 brumaire; also fought in many battles and was wounded. Died in 1850.

Chicago Fire attacker Luis Solignac will miss the next 6-8 weeks with a quadriceps strain, a club spokesperson confirmed Saturday.

The Fire left winger had started the first two matches of his third campaign with Chicago.

Solignac is coming off a career-best MLS season from a production standpoint. The 27-year-old Argentine scored seven goals and adding four assists in 2017.

In Solignac’s absence, 2018 MLS SuperDraft third-round pick Elliot Collier made his second career start Saturday against the Portland Timbers.
