Sorta going off your most recent response to an anon, what kinds of things has Odin asked of you (if you're comfortable sharing that) &/or how do you know what he's asking? I've been working with him for ~1.5 years & the most I really get from him is "keep working on yourself, dust yourself off when you mess up, get out of that rut you keep falling into." Like mostly it's just him hitting me with a stick telling me to keep moving forward even if it's hard. I just dk if I'm doing enough for him.

A lot of that, honestly. 

I had to face some uncomfortable truths about myself...we all tell lies to ourselves or sugarcoat it to ourselves when we do shitty things, I think. I’m human. I’m flawed, like everyone. 

But you can’t lie about anything to him. He sees your soul, and into the very heart of what makes you you. And part of it was facing some habits of mine that have caused me and others difficulty, no lies, no rationalizations, just bare naked truth. And it hurt, but he forced me to face that and work on myself. 

A big part of the work he tasked me with...I’m a voice. I’m words into the world, that may reach people. Not to try and convert people, but rather someone for those who are leaning this direction to reach out to if they need it, and words that may reach people who didn’t even know that this was a possibility, that they may think on and make up their own minds about. 

He’s pushed me to do more things for my space in the world. Things like picking up trash around my little corner of the world and sorting it into recycling, things like donating to local causes, things like getting involved in local politics. Things like actively standing up against people who would use his name for ill things, (cough boneheads cough). 

I’ve had to face things that I was afraid of, and why I was afraid of them. 

I know because....well, I almost don’t know how to explain it. Like a voice in the back of my head that is not my voice.

He’ll let you know what he wants. And what he wants you to do is going to be different from what he wants me to do.

Hello! Thank you so much for your blog; it's a great resource. I went through all your ABCs and I didn't find one that really fit me. I am romance-repulsed (tho that may be specifically the feeling of obligation/ownership that comes with most romance) but I do get fluttery non-platonic feelings for people that I'm interested in. Do you have any idea as to what that might be? Thank you again.

It might help to look at your romance repulsion as a different axis than your attraction. Like aromantic people can be romance favorable or romance repulsed and alloromantic people can be romance favorable or romance repulsed.

Another idea might be to look at the different kinds of attraction and see if any of those resonate with you.

I‘ve copied over the definitions from a post I wrote up over @herefortheacenaro about the aro and aplatonic terms/community which are in part pulled from the types of attraction on the side bar of this blog.

Sexual attraction: attraction that makes people desire sexual contact or shows sexual interest in another person(s).

Romantic attraction: attraction that makes people desire romantic contact or interaction with another person or persons.

Aesthetic attraction: attraction that appreciates the appearance or beauty of another person(s), disconnected from sexual or romantic attraction.

Sensual attraction: the desire to interact with others in a tactile, non-sexual way, such as through hugging or cuddling.

Platonic attraction: The desire to have a platonic relationship with a specific person.

Alterous attraction: A sort of gray area between platonic and romantic attraction. It’s defined as wanting emotional closeness without necessarily being (at all or entirely) platonic &/or romantic.

Queerplatonic/Quasiplatonic Attraction: A kind of platonic attraction that is not romantic but goes beyond the level of commitment and intimacy that is socially expected of friendship.
