I won't speak of him

|[It had been two hours and fourteen minutes since Alexander broke my heart. Broke was too nice of a word. Pulverized into a million small pieces was better. You'd be surprised how many calls one can get in two hours. I had missed calls from Isabelle, Jace, Clary and even /him/. I didn't want to care. I wasn't going to pick up not tonight. Tonight I was drinking with my cat. My lips trembling over the lip of my glass as a single tear falls soon followed by countless more. I don't know what finds me first the emotional exhaustion or the pain but something finds me first before I know it he's there behind my eye lids. Except he's not /my/ Alexander no he's the shadow hunter and he's walking away from me. That's when I hear the pounding at the door. I don't care I don't get up to get it. I don't yell out for who ever it is to leave. I just don't have anything in me. Nothing Isabelle came barging in screaming like a banshee "What did you do to him? I've never-oh. Um Mangus are you okay? You don't look so good. " I just blinked my golden eyes at her. ]| I think you should go Isabelle. Don't tell anyone what you saw. |[She starts reaching for me and stops "you love him. " looking up I shrug getting up. ]| Good bye Isabelle. |[ I say before retreating to my bedroom. Magically cleaning my make up off my face I crawl into bed and let the night take me. ]|

Brought back to life

|[ Centuries passing through feeling nothing having locked my heart away. Love had never been something I wanted to experience again. Who ever said it was better to have loved and lost to have never loved at all. Clearly had never watched their lover age and during while they stayed young forever. My life had become a string of lovers and one night stands some meaning more than others none breaking through the walls I had built around my heart. Then one day while I threw the chairman a birthday party it happened there he was a man after my own heart as soon as I laid eyes on him I couldn't breathe. Everything seized to exist I couldn't take my eyes off him. He awoke things long before having been dormant. Tonight he was marrying /her/ I had tried to win him over convince him to not do this. Tonight he would be hers and I would have lost him forever. Filling another drink with the amber liquid I would not cry. He had awoken me, he had given me life , and now he had given me a fate worse than death. I would live my days as I had but now I would always wonder what my life with Alexander LightWood would have been like. I drank to forget /him/ a fruitless task but a task nonetheless. I made my plans I would throw myself into throwing my glamorous parties I would make friends. I would pretend to live while loving him. ]|
