Making a torture blorbo poll. My OC, my silly blorbo, the great undead genderless character of my book needs to be dead (obviously, hence the undead part) when I started planning my book a few years back I made the decision that their death would be very dramatic: an arrow through the skull (horrifying I know) but after researching the time period that the book is going to be in I realized that a gun would also work (we love whipping out guns in our fantasy magic settings) but as I went to write my first draft just recently I had a thought: hanging. The horrible potential of having an undead character with a broken neck seems too good to pass up and it is fitting since their death is supposed to be caused because they were a spy and in that time period spy’s were often hanged (also they are supposed to represent the hanged man in a sense). But alas I am at a loss for which of these deaths could give me the most uncanny potential as well as pleasing the people, so I am starting a poll.
How should my undead oc have died?
Shot with an arrow in the head (originally idea)
Shot with a pistol in the head (modified original idea)
Hanged (my new evil idea)
