wow realizing that i can make myself happy right now is insane. i can buy that huge, oversized sweater to hide in while i drink hot tea. i can make collages out of old magazines and art catalogs to feel like i'm in an indie movie. i can go pick fresh flowers and put them in my hair so i feel like a carefree fairy maiden. i can do all these things. they're within my grasp and so much closer than i realize. things are so much simpler than i previously chose to see them and that's such a serious relief. happiness is within my reach.

if everyone could go back to worshipping the old gods, living in self-sustaining communities, offering help and love to one another, & living in harmony with the environment and mama earth, i wouldn't feel so out of place every single day.

honestly if your parents are shitty just dedicate your love and connection to an ancient greek god and ask for them to adopt you instead. because tbh who the fuck can stop you and there's no reason not to at least try.
