Solus 1.2.1 Shannon has been released by Solus Project brings the latest Budgie Desktop 10.2.8 as default desktop environment, also offering MATE desktop 1.16 and powered by Linux Kernel 4.8. This release introduces a new Budgie applet for use via the Budgie panel, called the Places Indicator Applet and volume popover for the volume applet.On-Screen Displays for Brightness and Sound have received improvements to design.
