NEW YEAR + MIDTERMS
Happy New Year! *confetti* I will try to update more after my midterms, which are these two next weeks. Wish me luck. If you have any questions or suggestions for me, feel free to send a message to my ask!
HAPPY (Sudden Increase in Adult Responsibilities) NEW YEAR!!!

You’re a Senior! WHAT NOW?
If you’re like me, you’re feeling a little stressed. Or old. Or both.
Senior year of high school is the year. It’s when the magic happens. It’s when you find yourself awake at night either studying for that test your teacher only told you about last Friday, or thinking about how you’ll ever get into college.
FEAR NOT! (or fear less)
Here are some freshly gleaned tips from my friends, seniors in high school and freshmen in college.
Do your homework early. If you have homework for a class that’s not due for another two days, do it! (Just do it!) Don’t put it off. Not only will you feel horrible about not completing something you could have finished, you’ll be more stressed. We’re stressed enough as it is.
Get to class early. Getting to class early gives you time to settle down and get ready to focus on whatever you’ll be doing. Your teacher will also appreciate more than seeing you burst through the door out of breath with a tardy pass in hand.
Make friends with your classmates. It’ll give you the benefit of a new friend, and a possible study buddy to go over homework with when you don’t want to ask the teacher any questions, which leads to....
Ask questions as much as you can. The teacher will not bite your hand off. Being a senior doesn’t mean you automatically have all the answers. You’ll be better off knowing too much than knowing too little.
Apportion your time. Set up a time for working on college apps, and another time for homework. Don’t try to mix the two, you’ll likely get distracted.
Have some fun! You’re not an adult quite yet. Go out with friends when you have time, read some books casually, watch that show on your Netflix queue. Just don’t get too caught up in having fun all the time, or it could lead to senioritis (it’s very contagious).
I’m sure this can apply to underclassmen too, but we seniors still need small reminders sometimes.

Studying limits on graphs for Diff. Calc. with my friends.
This is the first time in a long time than I’ve been so excited to learn math. It’s a good feeling.

Working on my first assignment from AP Literature. It’s only been three days in, and we have a quiz next week (yikes).
Back to School +100 followers!
Hello, hello!
It’s me, your (fairly) local studyblr!
--
School has finally begun.
Homework is being assigned, fall sports are in full swing, stress levels may or may not be rising, and the studyblr community is in full force.
Now that I have my full-year schedule, and I’ve started the college app process for real, I will be making more posts based on my current classes and some about the college application process.
If you have any classes you want masterposts about, contact me, and I’ll keep an eye out for them.
I also have a project I’ve been working on for a few weeks, so stay tuned.
P.S. I’ve finally reached 100 followers! This is huge for me, as I’m not the most social person, and I’ve been trying really hard not to let people around me down. So, to celebrate, I’d like to do something for all of you, and I have some ideas, but I’d love to hear some from all of you. I’ll probably have a set plan for the 100-follower celebration in a week.

Thanks, and have a great week

What solustudies is doing right now: SAT classes
Right now, I'm taking SAT classes! *halfhearted confetti* If anyone has any questions about the new SAT, feel free to ask me, and I will either answer you right away or interrogate my teacher and then answer you! Just a heads up! -- solustudies
