Ooh yes Martha Jones is fucking awesome! She’s my favourite character too!
I don't get people who don't like Martha Jones, to be honest, just because she was in love with the Doctor. I get that unrequited love can be an annoying trope, but she is so much better, so much more layered than "just being in love with the Doctor". She's resourceful, she's brave, she's intelligent, she's wily, she's cunning... I could wax lyrical about the brilliance of Martha Jones all day.
I really love The Name of the Wind, 1984 and East of Eden. :)
