Much of Niamh's time at Skyhold, after her arrival, was spent in the infirmary helping take care of injured refugees and soldiers. She had little time to explore or to get to know anyone, besides the other healers, but finally she managed to slip away for a couple of hours one day to take a walk.
Skyhold was vast and lovely, despite various parts of it still being in disrepair. She found herself wondering if she could find a little place to start an indoor garden for medicinal herbs and things. It was too cold outside for it...
Lost in her thoughts and scheming about a garden, she bumped into someone. She could've sworn that there had been no one in front of her a few moments ago. "Oh! I'm sorry. Are you all right?"
The first thing she noticed was his hat. The second thing she noticed was how pale he was. She'd never seen him before, but then again, there were a lot of people in Skyhold she'd never seen before.
