I’d say it sounds like a mix of ambience (and possibly something else) as well; while most ambient music sounds more ‘electronic’ than this the definition of the genre puts more focus on the lack of one rhythm a time, IIRC

Thanks for the answers, most of the ambient music I’ve looked up is definitely more synthesized but it seems like the right answer.
