The ear makes an annoyed twitch underneath her hood in response. " 'course.."

So just...be careful...

"Good." She smelled the little bugger before finding her, moving to get a look at the child. "You gonna hide her from everyone?"

*hovers over her warily* Only those that want to hurt and or eat her...

"What do you mean you didn't want her?!" A bit defensive over a mutant kid she hasn't even met yet. Realizing this, she trots right in to find the child in question. "Why do you want her now then?"

I realized I was...wrong.  None of this was her fault.  She didn't come into the world so great, but I can love her...

"No, it's not my fault." Hardly budges from her spot as the door was opened, rather just looking in from under her hood. "You didn't do that to your kid on purpose, did you?"

N-no!  I...she just...kinda happened.  I...to be honest, from what I've heard, I didn't want her in the first place...

*ashamed!*

Flattens her ears underneath the hood, causing it to deflate a little. "I'm not some sort of monster and it ain't my fault I'm a damn mutant. If I ate yer kid, I would be exactly what they called me. I'm not gonna eat yer kid."

*continues glaring for a moment before sloooowly opening the door*

Not your fault, huh?

Looks quite offended with that! "I ain't gonna eat yer kid! Do I look all cat to you?!" Defensively tugs her good a little further over her head. Just to be sure.

*gives the side-eye!*  How can I trust you?!

"Nothing! Ain't talkin' 'bout nothing." Snaps out of it. Can't actually be real, can it? " 's it a boy or a girl?"

*hisses*  None of your business.  *will not have her baby eaten!*
