okay the thing is, i just really can't imagine a scenario where will confesses to mike and mike rejects him.. like i've tried thinking about it and it just doesn't seem natural of mike to do so. even if mike were to let him down easy it would still make things between them feel awkward and i don't think that's the tone the duffers want for the last season of the series
im not saying it's impossible for unrequited byler but if they actually fully adress will's love for mike in a real way i just can't see mike turning him down 😶😶
