Someone Who Understands | Scott & Allison
Allison stared at the sign up sheet for swim team tryouts. They were going to be that afternoon. Her name clearly displayed near the top of the list, and with a quick movement, she crossed through it, over and over before walking away from it. She was an idiot. An idiot for thinking she could be normal. The silent acceptance of that made her tear up, and she ignored the bell for next class. She'd been skipping too much lately, but she didn't care. She had to get somewhere. It was at the last second she saw Scott in the crowds, and she got to him before he could get to any room, wrapping her hand in his, and giving him a knowing look.
"Please..." She muttered, knowing he could hear, and she pulled him in the opposite direction to the crowds, through a side door marked 'STAFF ONLY', and up a set of stairs to the roof, pushing the door open with all her effort. The sudden gust of cool air helped her for a second, before the nausea in her stomach settled in again. She didn't say anything at first, just sat on the roof, staring out. She didn't fit. She couldn't be normal. She wasn't a wolf, but she didn't feel human either. And some days it was easier to handle than others. But right now...
"Deaton was right when he said we wouldn't be the same again, huh?" She said at last, looking over at Scott at last. Her eyes filled with tears, but she wouldn't blink, knowing they'd fall. "Sorry... I know class is important, and I'm... being so selfish right now, but I found you before I could find Stiles, I..." She trailed off, hugging her knees to her chest. "...There's only two people who died with me. And I... " She stopped, looking at him. "I don't know if I'm the only one that feels like they came back... wrong."
Can I just...idk? Tell you everything! You're like the only one who understands how I feel (;
