I feel like if I didn’t see Elena as Eva the first time I saw the show I’d be doing Evita a disservice going by what you post??? hahaha. I absolutely adore her on the soundtrack but thats as far as I’ve heard/seen the show itself.

i mean.... ... yes. 

but also no bc the first eva i heard was elaine paige when i was six but the first eva i saw was christina(elena's alternate) and the show was still incredible it's just... the eva has to be really really good. and if they're not, the show has no hope. and there are only a handful of people who can play eva really well, you know? (but also we used to joke that once you go elena you never go back because i only ever saw an alternate once and then the other 18 times i saw elena)
