Last Tuesday, fourteen Somerville non-profits celebrated a global day of giving after weeks of campaigning to raise funds and awareness. We speak to Jennifer Lawrence, one of the organizers, and Tufts Professor Sam Sommers, to learn more the marketing strategies used by non-profits. There's more psychology involved than you'd think!

Band of Horses Releasing Acoustic Album, Playing Somerville Theatre

Band of Horses at the House of Blues - 12.9.2012

Band of Horses will be releasing an acoustic live album recorded at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.  It was recorded over two nights back in April, and will be released on February 11, 2014.

They have announced a series of acoustic tour dates, with a stop at the Somerville Theatre February 25th.  Tickets for the Somerville show go on sale to the public Monday at noon, with a presale Friday.
