Summary:
Tony and Steve go alternate-reality hopping by accident (Fine. It's Tony's fault: he touched something he shouldn't have in Reed Richard's lab). It's an eye opening experience.
Let the series epilogues begin ahaa (rip bee she yelled at me about this and I only gave her basic thoughts about what it was)

3 years later...
“Okay, but would I be on the phone with you if I hadn’t landed?” You said, walking around the airport. You pulled your luggage behind you, looking at all the faces you passed by. “You kind of can’t use your phone while the plane is in the air. No, you can’t. No, you can’t. Babe! You cannot!” You laughed, shaking your head. “Yeah, I’m just trying to figure out where I need to go now… I think there’s a…” You started to say, your eyes landing on what you were looking for, or rather who you were looking for. “You know, you look really good in that jacket. You were right, the red was a good choice.”
You watched as Joshua’s eyes widened, starting to look around the airport himself. You just continued to giggle as he searched, leaning on your luggage a bit. You tilted your head, shaking it a little bit at how long it was taking Joshua to find you. Finally, his eyes landed on you, a smile forming as you waved at him.
You both hung up your phones, walking towards each other.
“Hey you.” Joshua grinned, wrapping his arms around your shoulders and pulling you into him, your arms going to their usual place around his waist.
“Hey.” You laughed, happy to finally be back home. “How was your flight?” You looked at him, Joshua shrugging.
“It wasn’t too bad. Way too long though. I think it knew what was waiting for me on the other side and just… extended the time.” Joshua said, pouting at you.
“Yeah, I’m sure that’s what happened.” You laughed, Joshua kissing your forehead.
“How were your parents?” He asked, you shrugging yourself.
“Same old, same old. The wedding was fun though, you would have had a great time.” You commented, separating a bit to grab you luggage, Joshua wasting no time in taking your hand.
“I know, I know, but it was either use my vacation time for this, or cut this short to go to the wedding. And no offense, as much fun as it would be to go to your ex boyfriend’s wedding with you, I’d rather be able to explore Paris with you a bit more.” He said, walking with you through the airport.
“I get it. The bride and groom both send their love though. He tried to send me with some cake for you, but we couldn’t get it through customs.” You grinned, Joshua pouting.
“So the cake was wasted?”
“Oh no, I ate it. It was truly delicious. You really missed out.” You said, Joshua nudging your shoulder.
“We’ll just have to get some cake here then to even it out.” Joshua said, walking into the sun of Paris with you, looking for a cab to get to your hotel.
“Shua, it’s like 9 in the morning.” You said, Joshua rolling his eyes.
“Later. We can find some cake later.” He sighed, managing to find a cab, telling the cab driver in super choppy French where to go. “So the wedding was good?”
“It was really good. A little big, but it was cool to see everyone. I don’t know if I would have done it that big though.” You commented, Joshua raising an eyebrow at you. You just rolled your eyes now, shaking your boyfriends hand, which was still connected to yours. “Oh, don’t look at me like that Hong. I know we’re not there yet. You were still right in that we should wait until our lives calm down.” You said, Joshua just chuckling.
“Okay.” He just smirked at you, making you unlink your hands. “Uh-uh, no. You put that hand back. I haven’t held it for weeks.” Your cab driver just laughed, eyeing you two as Joshua tried to grab your hand and you avoided it.
You finally arrived at your hotel, going to check in and find your room. Joshua just shook his head as you geeked out about the room and the view, pointing out every little thing, from the view of the city to the tiny shampoo bottles in the bathroom. Eventually he disappeared into the bedroom part of your suite, you still looking out the window, trying to think of what you should do first.
You then went into the bedroom to unpack a bit, sighing as you saw Joshua laying back on the bed, arm covering his face and feet dangling off the end.
“Hey.” You said, kicking one of his feet. “Hey!”
“What…” He mumbled, you rolling your eyes.
“Joshua, you’re not supposed to fall asleep yet.” You said, attempting to pull him up, only to have it backfire as he pulled you onto the bed, holding you hostage in his arms. “We have to stay awake until tonight.”
“But I didn’t sleep on the plane.” He said, you sighing.
“And whose fault is that?”
“Yours.”
“How is it my fault?” You looked at him, seeing that dumb grin on his face.
“Because you had to leave for weeks before this and I was too excited to see you.” He said, you lightly hitting his stomach.
“I was excited to see you too but I still slept.”
“How much?” He grinned, looking at you.
“...Like an hour.”
“Exactly, we can take a small nap.”
“No.” You said, attempting to push up. Joshua held you pretty tightly, so you had to resort to tickling his side to free yourself. “Come on, we need coffee. Once we get some coffee in you, you’ll feel so much better.” Letting out a loud groan, Joshua forced himself to sit up, pouting at you.
“Kiss first?” He asked, you smiling at him. You lightly pecked his lips, pulling him up off the bed.
After stopping at a cafe down the street for emergency coffee, you began to explore Paris. You didn’t do too much thorough exploring, knowing you had things planned for the next few weeks, but you figured out where some things were. You even laughed when an elderly French woman started raving about Joshua’s appearance, calling over his friends to look at the beautiful boy. He was so flustered, which only made you laugh more.
You also laughed when you ran into some fans, who took quick pictures with the two of you. Joshua insisted they stopped because they saw you, but you know you both saw the Jeonghan and Minghao photocards in their phone cases.
After you two had had your fill of sites, food and wine, you found yourselves sitting on the train, zooming through the city with the sunset. It was then that you finally really started to feel the jetlag. With Joshua focused on looking out the window, your head resting on his shoulder watching the same sight, hands linked together on your lap, you found it incredibly hard to keep your eyes open. So, they slowly closed.
“You know, I don’t know if I had even seen a sunset this beautiful. Just between the colors and the city and the scenery and the warmth...” Joshua said, unaware that he was talking to himself. “I was going to wait until our last day here, but I think…” He looked at you, grinning as he saw you sound asleep, a slight pout on your face.
Joshua reached into his pocket, pulling out the little box, propping it open a bit. The ring inside still managed to sparkle in the sunset light, Joshua smiling a bit.
“Well, I guess this can wait another day.” He said, snapping the box shut and putting it back in his pocket, resting his head on yours, continuing to watch the sunset.
In that moment, he was pretty happy with how fate worked out.
