Ok after having a couple of days to process Will's coming out scene, honestly byler shit aside, it totally made sense for him to ce out to everyone the way that he did.

Like yes, it sucka that he came out that way, but also it did make sense why he did it!!! Like will has been battling feeling useless this entire season, and the reason for that is primarily his fear of everyone knowing his secret.

So to take things into his own hands he's like fuck it, I'm about to go into battle and I want to be useful!! If the only thing in my way is my own fear of this secret being revealed then let's get this shit done. So he comes out to everyone who he is going into battle with. These are the people who have come together to defeat vecna, and any one of them could be used against him. This coming out was to get rid of that problem. And this problem meant more to him than his feeling or how he would have preferred it cause this was about life or death, making sure he was strong enough to protect those he loves.

Now that being said, I do agree that it could have been done A LOT better. But I don't think it was as out of left field as everyone is saying it was.
