The other day I was attending to my student council duties and I was talking to a professor about some issues we were having regarding rescheduling and stuff and he said "no other faculties do it that way, why would we do it?" And I, being chronically online, responded "we have to be the change we want to see in the world!" And forgot that neither he or the student council president, who was present there, knew about that phrase beforehand, and it got such a huge reaction it did inflate my ego a little bit.

btw its impossible to not hold a political bias and instead of feeling vindicated because you subscribe to the Right ideology you should examine your views and try to understand what aspects you have absorbed uncritically

It used to be if a post got popular on tumblr people who disagreed with it would fight on the post so you would see the same post go around multiple times and it was sort of exciting seeing what side you were supposed to be on THIS time it was on your dash. But now everyone is too afraid or polite to fight directly so a post will get popular and then a few days later a different post complaining about it will get really popular and then another post agreeing with the original post gets popular.
