main menu equivalent in-universe would be the universe hub — the most common name is just "Universe", like the Universe Herself, but it is often called Origin to make a distinction between it and the Universe Herself.

Origin is not something you find yourself in usually, simply because of how interconnected anything within it is. it also does not really look like much, more like spectating a world that does not really quite exist, despite holding all existence; but Origin itself leads to a few different paths: - Genesis*: a gateway to a small private hub, which generates various square patterns all with the same 11 colors. - Concept: a portal which leads to a comfortable and homely hub (called 'The Concept', but usually just shortened to 'Concept'). - Ambit**: an easy to walk through doorway. players themselves don't really have much control or say over what happens here, and one can also be denied entry. most tend to forget that it exists.

Ambit is commonly known as the Realms Hub. you only ever have access to realms you've been invited to, and you can also be denied access to ever entering Ambit, which means most people tend to stray away from it.

Genesis is where all singleplayer worlds are located. every player, upon walking through the gateway, is put into their own little pocket of the universe which nobody else can access (unless given permission). within Genesis are gateways to all their worlds. gateways require world crystals to generate; world crystals are easily willed into existence by any player and world crystals are extremely easy to destroy and create copies of. this is how maps and world downloads are shared!

the heart of The Concept, which is where you're transported when entering from Origin, is a nicely built structure of various types of stone brick, wood, and stained glass murals. it looks like a mix of a cathedral and museum. it has various hallways, and various places for hanging out with friends outside of servers, good for catching up with people you don't see in the places you frequent. the main hallway in the building is the Sanctum Wing, which leads to the sanctums of various communities within minecraft, like speedrunning, pvp, redstone, so on.

the outside of The Concept, however, seems to be a big floating island. there are a few rivers that run off and dip into the skies below, and a big lake near the east corner of the island. many joke that it resembles the fabled and non-existent Aether. it has a vast vibrant green field, decorated by various players over its existence, with small buildings, spots to hang out, and even forests. what players don't ever dare to touch though, is the many flowers that dot the landscape. many say each flower represents a player that has lived, or currently lives; and many older players claim they know which flower is theirs, or their friends. some build little shrines around the flowers that they claim represent their lost loved ones. if you try to jump into the sky below the island, you will simply be teleported back up to where you last stood.

Sanctums are specialised hubs for different communities, such as speedrunners, anarchy, redstoners, pvpers, builders, modding, args, and so on. within Sanctums you can go even further into subcommunities, such as Runner's Sanctum being split further into RSG, SSG, Ranked, AA, FSG and the various other categories (such as mine a chunk, superflat mine a chunk, stack of lime wool%, and so on). these 'sub-sanctums' are called Havens.

within Sanctums and Havens, you can find Adytae*** (singular: adytum, alt plural: adytums); which are private worlds for friend groups or lone players and the like. these are usually in the more outskirts or hidden areas of Sanctums and Havens, unless they're public. it is possible, but extremely frowned upon to join an adytum you are not part of. some people don't have their own Adytum, instead only having one with a friend group, or just not having one at all.

Adytae are extremely customisable and depending on the person or group, can either be a casual survival world, a hardcore world, or allow switching between all gamemodes, not caring about the usage of hacks and exploits, or being modded. most friend grouo adytums usually don't run many if any mods; but it highly depends on the group.

speaking of hacks.... how do those work?

(fun fact: did you know most of the 'hacks' you see people put in thumbnails aren't even real, or don't look the way they present them in the thumbnail?)

hacks are illegal modifications made to various parts of either a player's gear, their body, or accessories that can be turned on and off at will that give an advantage. for example, elytrafly and elytrabounce both modify the elytra, but in different ways. elytraboost, on the other hand, utilises a modified rocket that never runs out of uses. antihunger, though, either directly changes how the player's metabolism works, or uses a device that sends signals to the player's body to slow their metabolism. jesus hacks are something that modify the player's footwear, be it sandals, socks, or a pair of boots, to act like frostwalker, but without actually freezing the water. x-ray is either a direct modification of their eyes, or specialised eyewear, so on, so fourth.

but the specification of illegal modifications implies legal modifications?

yup! that's the f3 functions! stuff like copying coordinates to clipboard (f3+c), chunk borders (f3+g), pie chart (shift + f3 or f3 + 1 depending on the version), the debug menu itself, advanced tooltips (f3+h), showing hitboxes (f3+b), so on — they're alll legal modifications to general eyewear, eyes, contact lenses, or in cases of stuff like hitboxes and chunk borders, can also be projected holograms! functions like the debug menu or advanced tooltips can also be shown on a screen device worn anywhere on the body (but usually arm).

but how do you obtain exploits and hacks?

in underground places of Concept! they're much more hidden away than any adytae would be, but extremely easy to find if you know where to go. in these underground areas though, you can also find people who sell body modifications like wings or tails if you go too far off. these are highly illegal and even more frowned upon than hacks/exploits are, because they hurt other players — usually hybrids or other-dimensional players — in the process of obtaining them. that, and actually attaching them to someone requires extremely fragile magic which can do much more harm than good.

Hikaru's birthday being the last day of winter (march 20) and spring being symbolic for 'rebirth' and 'renewal', 'new life' and hikaru dying in the winter which is associated with 'death/the ending of cycles' 'darkness' (vs 'hikaru' = light), 'coldness' and 'loneliness' and hikaru died alone in that forest and never made it to (literal) spring or to being his true self.....oh i feel ill

I think the reason why I always discredit my anxiety is because I don’t. Remember what it’s like to not always feel anxious so I keep thinking “no no I’m fine I don’t have anxiety because I always feel like this” Wrong.

I also think part of it is my parents beating it into me that mental illness isn’t real but then turning around and saying “Yeah your cousin seems like she might be on the spectrum.” So now I’m thinking “Oh well I can’t have anxiety or ADHD because it’s not real unless someone acts like it.” Also wrong gdjbshejdbrjenf I’ve been living with this for so long I’ve learned to mask it so well not even I can fully accept that maybe I need help hxjdvdhfbrh
