"I'm sure you don't need me for the winter dance, Bendy-"
"Nonesense, now one step left." Bendy kept his gaze on their feet, turning them to the soft music in the background. "Backwards once, another left-" His tail flicked when Mugman stumbled and stepped on his foot.
"Sorry-" Mugman pulled away and took a deep breath. "This is a very fast dance."
Bendy chuckled. "Well, the winter nights are short, so it's best to follow the time." He lowered his arms, and watched as Mugman adjusted his coat. "…try again?"
Mugman sighed, and glanced at Bendy. "A lot of people like you, Bendy. Wouldn't it be better to do with them instead of…well, me?" He pointed to his face, as if trying to remind Bendy of his reputation.
"A lot of people can like you," Bendy waved his hand in dismissiveness. "But only you can like one person." He gave his hand to the former hunter, and smiled. "Let's try again?"
Mugman sighed, but reciprocated the smile. He straightened up, then fell back into position.
"Sure. One more time."
