At times it's closest to the sun, it's very hot, and at its farthest, cold enough to cover its highly acidic oceans with thick ice. Its thick atmosphere is laden with heavy and noxious gases that create colorful clouds that obscure the surface and press heavily upon the surface. Volcanism continuously expels noxious ash and gases into the atmosphere. A strong magnetic field keeps the atmosphere from being blown away by solar wind. It has a moon that creates the tides." Man I wish I had drawn the ocean too, but I was away from home for a while and the thing was already half-finished and I didn't have the time to change it. Maybe I'll make another concept art later down the line, but for now I'm pretty happy with this planet.
