ALL OF THIS. Tho tbh I can’t even be happy that about Fred’s return because I’m so bitter about the exclusion of Cordelia, Connor, and Gunn from Angel’s narrative. *sigh*

Yeah, I noped out of the DH stuff with the Twangel gate and only read S9: Family Reunion because it had Gunn cameos and Connor was there and it was pretty fanficcy in the way that it was everything I as a fan wanted when it dealt with AtS stuff, but when I had to accept that Twangel bullshit, Willow was there and I had little idea of the plot it was just not good so a conflicting reading experience. 

So yeah the fact that Connor is not a fixture in Angel’s life, that Gunn is relegated to small cameos in 2 issues and Cordelia is nonexistent makes me stay away from DH stuff. (also I’m super against romantic Angel and Faith and I kinda always fear they’re gonna go there although that doesn’t seem to be the case so I don’t want to read A&F that much)
