Like, very common! I don’t know how much you use the internet or participate in fandom but this is probably one of the most common things for fans to do. Lots of people do it. Take their faves from media and plonk them in other worlds and scenarios. It’s pretty common. Did I mention that?
alternate universe or AU stuff is a regular thing to do? What if eddie WAS Satan’s Vessel? What if he was a satanist??? What if the satanic panic of the 80s was FOR A REASON and Eddie really was the devil?
Also this is a pretty metal concept too. Of all the scenarios to put Eddie in, this is actually kind of relevant to his character. Like a fucking Metallica album cover or some shit?
