Hello, my dear!

I thought I’d publish this so that anyone else that’s wondering what’s going on might get an answer as well.

I’m fine, there’s no worries about me. It’s Maddie that’s not so fine. We were out dancing Friday and first Maddie fell on the dance floor and hit her head so she got a big bump. So we decided to go home. We went to the bus stop and Maddie said that she was going to go on the toilet, so she ran across the street and I followed after her (I didn’t want her to run off alone with that bump on her head) when she got hit by a taxi.

She’s okay, she broke her left upper arm close to the shoulder (she took the impact with the shoulder when she hit the ground) and got a concussion and she was operated today. I feel for Maddie and I mostly just wish I could ease her pain. At the same time I’m so utterly greatful that she is okay, it could have ended so much worse.

So, it’s okay. She’s okay. She’s going to be fine.
