As someone with social anxiety I totally get that.
It's like choking on your own insecurities it's the worst.
Chase stepped away from his computer and took a deep breath. Hopefully Wuya was right about what she'd said and Chase wouldn't be making a fool of himself. He slipped on his shoes and made his way over to Jack's room. He hesitated at the door and lifted up a hand to knock. Maybe this wasn't the best idea. What if Jack had just been embarrassed at the idea of liking Chase because it was a ridiculous idea? He knocked on the door before he could change his mind.
