oh my goodness ok so

my little sister got a little cut on her arm and there was a bit of blood so she was kinda sniffly and trying not to cry you know like they do anyway so im trying to put a band aid on it but she keeps flinching away and saying

"is it gunna hurt? is it gunna hurt?" i tell her no but she doesnt believe me and still wont let my put it on. she has a birthday coming up this weekend so i ask her "how old are you gunna be?"

"seven"

"ok then practice being seven year old brave, can you try that?" and immediately she calms down and lets me put the band aid on

basically my siblings continue to be adorable precious little things
