abby did lyra save the tieflings? i’m really curious how her history would impact that decision 🤔 the family of it all… i am starting a new tav and considering doing an evil run but it’s hard for me hehehehee
every time you guys ask me about her i’m like 🥺🥺🥺🥺 but yes she did! not out of any sense of heroism or attachment to the tieflings but it’s so early in the story that she’s still basically Completely Detached and used to accomplishing specific tasks when asked, so the force of the Narrative is enough to have her going sure no problem and saving everyone. i think she probably really loves the kids (especially mol) but she’s not capable of identifying that emotion at the time.
(saving the tieflings requiring her to sneak into the goblin camp and massacre them from the shadows is an added bonus for her probably, and the ease in which she and astarion accomplish that is the way they establish their battle language etc)
the interesting thing about lyra is that she’s not inherently evil at all and is just as satisfied doing the wrong thing as the right thing (yay neutrality born of violence and loss!) but she would SOOOO easily tip that way, it will not really require much change on my part. i think playing evil will suit her scarily well… but canon playthrough she generally makes the moral choice just bc the story really does want you to, and she’s a path of least resistance gal (at the beginning) and slowly influenced by the party.
