I alway wonder if when people say "if you ever want to talk I'm here" if they actually mean it or not. Do they genuinely want to listen to me complain about stupid problems, or are they just saying that to be polite? It's like I could never take up one of those offers, because what if they didn't actually mean it when they said it? The last thing I would want to do is talk to someone when the last thing they want to do is listen.

It's kind of sad. My parents tell me that I can be anything I want to... As long as I go to college. Or don't want to be a rock star or movie star (which is ACTUALLY what I want to do).
