asks with very very heavy subjects may or may not get published bc even with a trigger warning, we don’t want people passively reading through the blog to get hurt
please know that we aren’t offended from such asks, and that the vast majority of asks are fine. we don’t want people to take serious matters and paint a happy face over them, this is just for some of the more intense subjects, particularly regarding sa, csa, ect.
we fought over this for a long while bc while we don’t want people to have to censor themselves, we don’t want people’s trauma to feel unacknowledged, and we definitely don’t want people to take the experiences of those with trauma lightly, we also don’t want to bring about Bad Timesᵀᴹ for other people in a place that’s supposed to be a reprieve from the scariness of trauma and being a system.
Trauma dumping and intense venting are completely understandable reactions to having experienced terrible things and if you’d still like to send those asks, rest assured that we do receive them and we do acknowledge your pain, however we encourage you to seek professional help because the urge to talk about and actualize your past can be handled far better with a trained counselor than it can on an ask blog.
