Thinking about Lord Mortullace again from @cecameron's "Somewhere Other" comic.

There's something cute to me about the thought that Elias/Nocturne has a more assertive side in him. To think, Mort could have seen it much earlier had he not done the whole tyrant schtick first thing's first.

In honor of Father's Day, I present @cecameron's problematic dad Lord Mortullace from her webcomic "Somewhere Other", before she did Wimp Witch.

I appreciate the way the comic was able to show how he did create/adopt Neb out of villainous-ambition, yet without showing you directly, you understand he grew sincerely attached -enough to not involve his teenager in his plot for her own safety.
