i listened to hamilton for the first time on spotify with the lyrics on and it worked just fine. the show is mostly sung-through, and you can absolutely follow the main plot without visuals. also if you google "hamilton genius annotations" it'll take you to a website that thoroughly explains everything.

This took awhile I had to think about a few of these and I continue to take everything too seriously

I think I am a human being though I try to be a human doing. I try to be nice and thoughtful and harmless and honest but I end up mostly just thinking and keeping my thoughts to myself and well people who don’t know what to say or do are not usually considered “doers”

7. do you care about your ethnicity?

Not really, no. 

11. Describe your ideal day

Wake up without an alarm, do some yoga/ drink some coffee, sit outside and play ukulele. Maybe some writing. Oh and I’m definitely wearing a flannel. And it’s overcast/ ~50 degrees. Eating some tacos. Maybe come home and cuddle with my cat. No contact with anyone. Nice.

13. Inside or outdoors?

I am indoors most of the time but if i want to think clearly or if I need to get away then I go outside. Outside is my happy place

17. would you say your tumblr is a fair representation of the “real you”?

I’m a quiet, sarcastic asshole on tumblr and irl so.. sure

19. which Harry Potter house would you be in? or are you a muggle?

I am apparently a Gryffindor which at first I was offended by (my heart was set on Hufflepuff) but I have since then done a lot of self-reflection and realized that they were right. I’m no Hufflepuff

23. how often would you want to see your family every year?

A few times. Enough to keep a good relationship, but not so much that I feel smothered

The reason I started playing it was pretty much cause I heard it was really hard, and I wanted to prove to myself that I can be good at "hard" games despite playing a lot of stuff like Animal Crossing XD;

... it is pretty unforgiving... but playing safe really helps keep you alive. it's manageable once you figure out how to play it appropriately safe. In a way, it definitely rewards you for taking some time to move slowly.

I'd say it's worth giving a shot at least. If you wanna try it before investing, you're welcome to test it out over here some time :3

hey i just saw that you're going to go see chris hardwick! lucky you! and just be forewarned, he is the sweetest most wonderful person you will meet. like, if he starts doing crowd work during his set, call him over! he'll certainly swing by and then you can get a hug.

I luckily got to meet him (and jonah, matt and doug benson) a little over a year ago when the nerdist podcast came to Minneapolis. But of course i was a moron and was completely nervous meeting them.

I hope i get the chance to meet him again. The comedy club he’s playing at is only a block away from where i live and also only holds about 150 people so i’m hoping my chances of meeting him again (and not being a moron this time) are in my favor. :)
