Happy 22nd trip around the sun. 2016 was a hard one, but you powered through like the boss you are. You are so strong and you never let anything get in the way of what you want. You're such a caring person. Someone needs a babysitter, you're there. Someone needs a dogsitter, you're there. A cat sitter, you're there, even if you are allergic. A non-profit needs a volunteer to table for some event, you're there. Always smiling and loving it the whole time. You make friends with ladies on the bus. You talked to a mother you saw stealing lemons from our neighbors because she reminded you of home, without a second thought and now we have a tamale hook up. If you meet someone that looks that they are hard laborers the first thing you think about is whether their employers are treating them right. For god's sake, you want to give our bus driver a thank you card because he's always so nice to everyone. I don't think I have ever met someone as empathetic and as caring and genuine as you. Now for the gushy stuff because I couldn't for the life of me say this in person without ugly crying. You are my other half. You are my rock, my princess in shining armour, my light in the darkness, my cream cheese to my bagel, you are the reason I am surviving this hell called college. I'll never forget one night you found me crying on the floor waiting for you to come home and you coddled me and rubbed my FEET! You hate feet. No ones perfect, but you're pretty damn close. Thank you for your kindness, your understanding, your patience, and your friendship.
