Kyrgyzstan: Son-Kul

We moved on to a high-altitude mountain lake area called Son-Kul. Closed off to the rest of the world most of the year, the area is accessible during the summer months when the snow has melted and vehicles are able to make the climb. It was again a very clear night and I stayed out for some star photography.

After this we headed back to Bishkek, spent a night in a hotel and then began the journey to our next location: Tajikistan. Oh- we also had a blown out tire on the way back!
