          what happened to her is a secret ( unbeknownst to kimberley, the full extent of it is to her as well ). she knows the bare bones, all of the important people she’s talked to must surely be aware of the details--- everybody else is in the dark, as many of them seem to prefer it. she isn’t sure why, then, she’d felt compelled to reveal to jinki what had happened to her, but she was. so she did. kimberley brushed it off easily enough, there’s really nothing she finds worth getting worked up over, but jinki seems to have a different take. 

“ ---revenge? ” the woman repeats between swallows of food, barely taking the time to spare him a glance. she muses over his comment for a second, before shrugging dismissively. “ i wasn’t planning on getting any, no. ”

THE SOUND OF VOICES coming from the television set play silently through the room in a volume that is almost entirely inaudible. the television has been playing idly this way for some time now, serving more as background noise than anything else. not that eunki minds from where he’s been sitting, perched on the mattress in anticipation, waiting for sam. it’s been just the two of them, which almost feels strange to think about, because it doesn’t feel like they’ve ever had some time away together. eunki has grown all too familiar with surrounding himself with groups of peers, feeding off others’ energy and presence. but maybe that’s what makes it a much needed vacation. maybe some time alone together is exactly what they need. or, at least, what he needs. and it’s always comparable to heaven on earth when he gets to spend time with sam. so when he joins the other in the bedroom, eunki perks up with a bright smile. “come to me!” he calls to the other, patting his lap. “i know we spend every waking moment together, but i still miss you so get over here.”

IT’S FRIGHTENING --- and frankly quite intimidating. hyunjae’s hands can’t stop moving, fingers fidgeting with the denim of his jeans or tugging at the hem of his shirt. he feels like a teenager again---in all the worst ways. they’re both adults, and yet he’s standing before the elder, anxious and scared over the conversation of sex as if he’s being forced to have ‘ the talk ’ with his parents. as if he’s being coaxed into losing his virginity at the school dance. he doesn’t know when he had lost touch with himself so drastically, but lately the only thing on his mind is trying to find himself again. whoever that may be. or whoever he ends up becoming. which is the short answer to an otherwise complicated explanation to tobias’ million dollar question at pierces him like the elder deliberately asked that question to get a reaction out of him. he hesitates for a moment when he musters up the courage to think, struggling to come up with a valid response to give the other. “well,” he starts, drawing a nervous, shaky breath. his eyes dart from one location to the next, damn near examining every object, every piece of furniture, every little detail before he meets the other’s gaze once again. “when i was younger, i thought i had everything figured out. and then i woke up one day and realized i wasn’t going anywhere like i thought i would be. so i guess i’m just trying to find out what’s right for me.” it feels as if every hair on hyunjae’s body has stood up tall, sending a shiver up his spine. “who knows, maybe this is my calling ? maybe here with you is exactly where i’m meant to be.”

SECRET RENDEZVOUS, intimate flings and shameless hookups behind closed doors were consistent components that comprised injeong’s relationship with jeongmin. since the lawyer met the young intern, he had taken quite a liking to him, entranced by his soft features complimented by those sharp, intense eyes, his slim yet broad stature, his plump, round ass paired with those burly, toned thighs. he was a vision, and injeong just had to get his hands on the younger---and that, he did. but they were playing with fire. keeping up inappropriate dalliances at work in his office with employees on the other side of the wall, and his father in his own office nearby was risky and dangerous, but injeong hadn’t a care in the world. he had jeongmin, and seeing him on his knees between his legs or bent over his desk was enough and made the thrill of getting caught worth it, and gave him an even better reason to look forward to work. so just like clockwork, when the young intern entered his office, injeong stood up from his seat after meeting his gaze with an intense gaze and smug smile, and strolled around meet the other at the other side of the desk. he takes the stack of documents from jeongmin’s hand and tosses them aside on the surface carelessly before he gets his hands on what he really cares about, fingers wrapping around the younger’s waist to pull him close. “i get the feeling you’re just always look for a reason to come see me,” he mutters low and soft. “you wanna lock the door and let me have my way with you or you wanna change things up and get out of here? we can do whatever you want.”

The flowers appeared to be dancing to the sudden gusts of wind, bending all the way towards the ground and then springing up with some renewed zeal. Occupying the small window bench, he too moved towards the sunlight, trying to escape from the endless coldness that was trapped in the stone walls of the castle. No matter what classroom he was in, he could feel a chill that no one else seemed to have been aware of at all. 

Of course, during breaks, the students would basically run out as if someone was chasing them, happy to be rid of the tall walls, and to greet the freshly grassy hills and even endure the cold wind by the lake. The classroom was empty for now, so he could enjoy in the brief moments of quiet and tranquility. BANG - CRASH - BOOM 

It sounded like someone had taken something made of glass and then threw it on a giant pile of glass. Startled from his peaceful resting place, Jung-hoo got up only to see, through the open doors into the hallway, remanents of what appeared to be some kind of furniture. Or at least it was, now he could see pieces of wood and glass. “ If you broke something of Snape’s, should I call someone to arrange your final will and testament?‌ ”

          ‘ what? ’ she stops dead in her tracks, icepacks in her hands as she finally notices the way he’s been staring at her. brown eyes follow his line of sight and—

honestly, heejin hadn’t even noticed. he’d called her just as she was getting ready for bed and, determined to not tend to him bra-less in a camisole, she’d thrown on the first t-shirt she saw. ‘ don’t- don’t stare at me like that. i forgot this was yours. ’ that isn’t… entirely true, maybe. she gave most of his stuff back to him, but this shirt was always heejin’s favorite. ‘ i’ll give it to you after i wash it. ’

ANY SIGHT OF WHOEVER no minsu used to be before all the dancing and clubbing and partying has been long gone for quite sometime---all a hazy memory that minsu wasn’t even sure he could recall a time that far behind. his life had fallen into an easy familiarity with everything about the lifestyle, culture, and environment that he had become so used to that it all came so naturally to him. so natural that he couldn’t even fathom the clash in personalities when he elder met taehee, and how intimidating he must have come off with his forward, brazen personality. “or maybe you should just show off your ass a little more, don’t you think?” there’s a cheeky grin on minsu’s face as he shoots the younger a wink. “if you got it, flaunt it.” in another world, he might’ve scared off taehee with the way he came onto the other, but all this time later, somehow the younger stuck around. and the way he makes a snide remark about minsu’s hypersexual interest in him proves that he’s learning quickly. “you’re right, there are a lot i don’t like,” he leans back in his seat as he looks over at the other, eyes casting down his figure and then back up. “but i guarantee there’s a whole lot more about you i could list that i like. and you know me about now---there’s a lot i could want. because there’s a lot to want about you.”
