I've been only using anki for all exams for three years. For cards with a bit more explanation I always use cloze cards! Make bigger texts a lot easier to learn that just question and answer! I tried physical flash cards for the first exam, but the amount of paper I would have used... Anki is way easier to Transport :D
I guess I’m just old, because it took me ages to figure out how that app works BUT I got it :D Yeah, it’s much better to walk around with an app than a hoard of cards... or even a textbook. Hopefully it helps :)
