Another year, another song jam! Last November-December, another cohort of incredibly talented musicians came together to tackle four new sets of songwriting challenges. Then, we made a compilation album about it.
No cuts. No major revisions. 22 delicious original tracks, with new music from fan-favorite rockers and brilliant new voices alike. It's a testament to the ability and enthusiasm of every single participant in our 2025 song jam that this compilation album is as good as it is. But don't take our word for it—Pre-order the Fourth Strike Song Jam 25 album now, and enjoy the zippy, confident, and ridiculously catchy preview track, "Monadnock," by @lordcakespy and Aran P. Ink.

🎤Announcing the FOURTH STRIKE SONG JAM 2025! 🎵 FOUR CHALLENGES, FOUR SONGS, FOUR WEEKS.
Song Jam's a beloved FS tradition at this point, and we couldn't be more excited to bring it back for another go around. About once a year, we open the server for a low-pressure, collaborative space for musicians to complete challenges in songwriting & producing. This year's song jam will run from November 10 through December 15—that's two weeks on, a break week, then two more weeks.
Join in on our discord server! Our usual entry requirements will be relaxed for the jam (though Fourth Strike is still first and foremost a music workspace).
Have a song with @thwackamabob @clemkesh and Morgan (who I'm not sure is on Tumblr?) on the new fourth strike song jam! It's called Euthanasia, we made it in like 2 days, and it's inspired by one of my favorite short stories, "Pencil Werewolf" by Gerardo Sámano Córdova✏️🧪🐺
We're proud to announce that the Fourth Strike Song Jam For Good 2023 raised $1085.17 for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the jam, bought the compilation album, or spread the word. This was 100% a community effort; we quite literally couldn't have done this without you.
If you missed the jam, you can still make donations direct to the PCRF. And check out the album credits to follow and support all our wonderful participating artists!
