➵ } it was quiet; not a single breeze to jostle the bush nor the chirp of a bird. not the kind of quiet he was ever used to.
he hadn’t planned on treading this far off the map, dogging a buck from the heart of sector 006 all the way to wherever the hell this was. nature illustrated this picture, not a glimmer of man’s interference to be seen. green for miles, sunlight dribbling through the nooks in the canopies of leaves and knotted branch arching overhead, and he’d never breathed a fresher air. the wind, just passing through as it had been all day, tousled his mess of matted brown, jostling the fauna with the gentlest touch. he didn’t break focus however, crouched and nestled amid the bush with the prize in his sights and finger poised at the trigger.
steady breaths, in and out. these things were jumpy sons o’ bitches-- the slightest wring of a muscle would have them at the very least suspicious. anything more and they’d take off. he’d have it before he let that happen again. it was right where he wanted it now; still, grazing, and unawares.

Katniss Everdeen, representative of the French City Paris.
Born as a representative Katniss always stood by the side of the rightful leaders of the city and of France itself even if she were against their way of ruling the country and city. However what was noticeable from an early beginning was that the representative of Paris would always stand at the front of the battlefield, fighting together with the Frenchmen against the English such as in 1429 where she fought alongside Jehanne D’arc reclaiming land that is rightfully theirs.
The representative of France had never been so proudEven after the execution of Jehanne, Katniss continued to stand by it’s people rather than those higher up such as was shown in the Renaissance and Age of Enlightment. Often she could be seen giving to the poor despite the higher ups looking down on it, but the representative did not care, the poor people were people too and so were they, so is she. She was not here to only please them.
As the years continued Louis XVI became the ruler of France and while Katniss tried to endure for it a little bit she soon came to realize that such thing was impossible as long as he would be their ruler. Using his money for himself and his wife instead of using it for the country, for it’s people. It was not surprising that she once again took the side of it’s people as they stormed the Bastille even having to go so far to face the representative of the country before eventually they picked up their weapons together against the ruler that would drag the country with him.
Yet there was nothing she could do against the mass execution of the french during the Reign of Terror and while she tried to put a halt she failed. For a long while she was seen as an enemy of the city, of the country but the representative of France managed to take care of that even though a representative is not capable of dying.
In modern days Katniss can often be found wandering through the streets of Paris, often greeted by it’s citizen in a friendly manner. Some say she reminds them of a story she once read in a history book, though little do they know who she really is for the identity for a representative is supposed to remain secret. But no frenchman will ever deny that Katniss Everdeen doesn’t bring a small smile to their faces even though they cannot explain why.
These bugs that were said to be flying around were truly a nuisance. She herself hadn't heard much about them or what they really did once one was bitten. Though try as she may, it was most inevitable to get nipped with so much skin exposed. Even in the cold (which really, a scarf just wouldn't cut the fact that it had recently snowed). Perhaps she should invest in a coat once she actually takes the time to look for a job of some sort. But that's totally beside the point.
As she gently scratched the bite upon the side of her neck, the faunus was looking around for a familiar face. The feeling of worry and urgency, yet overwhelming admiration and dare she say love for this individual was--. . . Ah. Strange was much too simple of a word to use. Bewildering? Well, we're getting there.
It was then Blake had caught her eye on the young woman she was searching for. A smile crept up upon her face, quietly weaving through the sea of people that crowded the sidewalk. As out of turn as it might have been for someone as reserved as herself, it was just getting to be impossible attempting to keep these emotions in.
Swiftly she ran up behind Katniss, throwing her arms around her waist and pulling her into a tight hug, chin nuzzling into her shoulder with a giggle.
