1, feel shittyfor some reason

2, write random bunch of lyrics

3, come up with an instrumental

4, read the lyrics again and consider it weird and/or stupid

5, almost fucking give up

6, do whatever to the lyrics and make it slightly more acceptable

7, rethink it like million times

8, boom u r done

At the crack of 3am, I opened my macbook to write some lyrics down before going to bed. Nearly had a heart attack when my machine booted in recovery mode. I was terrified I lost all my data (including hundreds of hours worth of arranging work) but apparently there's still 315 gigs of something on my disk so I might be okay.

I'm reinstalling the os and it says that'll take a couple hours, so I'm gonna try to sleep (might be difficult given the amount of adrenaline in my system rn) and when I wake up in the morning my pewter better be back to normal.

Idk what to tag this I just felt like sharing this experience somewhere lol

I love going to poetry open mics, because instead of feeling like my musicianship is inadequate, I get to feel like my lyrics are lame.
