THE SUMMERSTOBWEEK!

I came across this post on Twitter and decided to participate! I was actually excited about this since it's the first time I've done an art-themed Week.

But I think I did pretty well!

Day 1 song Inspired

I took a Latin American song that I really like and I feel that it fits a bit with Stone's perfective (my headcanon)

The song is called "Niña primavera" or "Spring Girl"

The verse that catches me the most is the beginning:

"Spring girl, a traveler's soul

With her sad eyes and a light suitcase

That's how I found her, that's how I found her

I was so badly hurt, alone, and depressed

With my two pockets torn

Full of a child's dreams

That's how she found me"

But in the end I decided to go more for the choir for this part since I imagined them dancing haha

Day 2 Day out

One of the details that I like about almost all versions of Eggman is that relationship or fascination he has with theme parks, So I felt that if they went out it should be to an amusement park and what better than Disney?

Although they're having a good time, Stone is running out of space...and money.

Day 3 Symbolism

I don't have much to add but this was the day I struggled the most to know what to draw, in the end I did this one but I feel like I could have done something better.

Day 4 Experimental

I did the experimental with two of the suggestions, experiment in style and experiment in what they are doing.

Outside of the first drawing I did of these two I hadn't drawn chibis before and it sounded easy and fun enough, so I got them building their best invention yet!

Day 5 Memory

This was also a bit experimental with what I wanted to do, I tried to make it a mini comic of both of them and the first time they met.

That latte works miracles

Day 6 crossover

This was the one I was most looking forward to! I love Eggman from Boom! And I've been wanting to draw Stone in this universe.

Personally I like to interpret their relationship as Lord Hater and Lord Dominator from Wander Over Yonder.

Eggman being an angry, clumsy man who only wants friends (although he likes to act like a villain) and Stone a sadist who enjoys suffering and being the villain.... And Eggman has a crush on him

Day 7 Future

I finally decided to just make a simple drawing of them relaxing one day with nothing much to do like an old married couple <3

The whole activity was so much fun, and I loved seeing so many people who love the drawings I made ! I decided to wait until I finished the activity to finally post it here! And I really hope it was worth it! ❤️💜
