Spent the last couple of days working on my OC card for sonicconuk.com. With it being so late in the year, it felt right dragging out my "last orders" mascot. Say hello Bundle!

It was great meeting everyone at Sonic Con today! Wish I could've gotten pictures with every cosplayer there, everyone looked so cool!

went to sonic con on saturday and had fun. hope my cards went to good homes.

my most dearest and beloved mutual I have entered hell (finals). do you perchance have a silly story to share so I can literally think abt anything else rn (no pressure ofc)

i sat for a while to think about this but i think i have it now.

so a while ago i went to uk sonic con, i went on my own cuz i had just moved to uni and wanted to try doing some things on my own and it sounded fun. i had a rly good time i walked around a lot and i saw a lot of panels which did rly inspire me and i saw cosplayers and it was awesome :)

the last thing on the schedule for the con was that Bentley Jones (the person who made Dreams of an Absolution (Silver's theme) and other sonic songs) was going to be there and was gonna do a show

i have a recording of them singing Dreams of an Absolution and it was a life-changing experience for me, there was an eggman cosplayer sat infront of me going actually INSANE. It was so cool.

Anyway, i was sat alone cuz obvs, i hadnt talked to too many ppl and was on my own all day. Some people who seemed like friends came in and all sat in the chairs next to me, i didnt wanna intrude, so I didn't and i sat and waited for the show to start

anyway, i was also in a Silver the Hedgehog Zine a year ago, it had come out by the time i went to the con and i didnt think much of it. I later when i got home said in the chat "oh i was just at sonic con heres a video of Bentley"

The people sat next to me. Were in that zine. not just that but one of them was TAKALA WHO RAN THE FUCKING SILVER ZINE

i will never be over it, if i could go back in time i would tell past tom to say in the zine chat if anyone else is there so i could say hi but JESUS CHRIST actual insane day

theyre doing the con in london next time im p sure so id have to go with someone cuz thats a bit far, but the day of the sonic con 2024 will always be a core-defining moment in my life
