Sonic used to have good drinks. My cherry limeade this time was EXTREMELY disappointing and bland, so I went searching to see wtf and it turns out the Sonics have never been consistent and it depends on branch and if the manager there gives enough of a shit to do things write or not. I don't know if it's all the Sonics in my city or just that one, but honestly? Not willing to give it another shot. That was fucking terrible. If I wanted a disgusting ass sprite, I would have just bought one at the store.

Under the lid, a sticky red glows,

a tiny dribble left on top.

When I keep my hands off the cup,

I feel the cold radiating off of the foam.

When I touch it though,

There is a moment of

Warmth.

As if the ice inside never existed.

Like the foam is confused about

Letting off the freeze inside or

Taking in the heat from my hands.

But then it’s gone.

The cup has made its choice.

My hands are cold.

Under the lid, nothing glows.

a tiny dribble not even left

on top.
