Isaac had just gotten out of school and was walking home. He wasn't in the best of moods, his Math test had turned into a semi-disaster and as much as he didn't want to care, now that they weren't under the threat of some kind of supernatural villain, he found that school was once again starting to have a weight in his life. 

As he debated whether to head to the nearby coffee shop or go directly home, he felt his phone buzz, so he fished it out of his pocket. In doing so, he stopped looking at where he was going and almost bumped into someone. He looked up just in time to avoid the impact, though. "Sorry," he said with a brief nod.
