SCARLET WOMAN 11x17 offset signed Available individually or as part of the triptych with #SeanDietrich and #KaiMartin. . @seandietrich and @kaimartinart invited me to do a print collaboration with them for @sonictemplefestival ! The brief was to make it evil. So I kinda went nuts and wanted to use some of the #photoshop techniques I recently learned doing the Kerrang project! It's weird and also kinda nice to not draw every project for #screenprinting. Since the #sonictemplefestival is named after the @officialcult”s rad album #sonictemple I thought of their song "Fire Woman" and was also listening to a lot of Iron Maiden's "Seventh Son..." album and wanted to draw the Scarlet Woman from the writings of #AleisterCrowley's #Thelema. Plus I love me some #Hellboy and I was on a huge #HPLovecraft kick after finishing up a poster for Metallica. More on that later. . From this past weekend at @sonictemplefestival with @dj_jefecita. . How crazy is this?! They printed my work onto a banner that was a million feet big and hung from the side of the @mapfrestadium that was visible from the freeway. That’s the biggest I’ve ever seen my work displayed. So crazy… . THANK YOU to all of the people who dropped by my booth or the #Dietrichartbooth to meet me and chat. I feel like I made some new friends after this weekend. And THANKS to all of the friends and clients who made time to talk as well. It was great to finally meet some of you or reconnect after so long. Especially @vyalone and @joshuabernstein .
